The federal ministry of a food in Germany has paid attention to results of research of German sociological society Forsa on a theme of conformity of marks of foodstuff to their contents and sufficient clearness of the given marks for consumers. By results of this poll, many consumers can’t distinguish cheese and a ham from imitations, and 90 % interrogated can’t find corresponding clear marks on product packing. Manufacture and sale of such imitations it is not forbidden, but, according to requirements, production from them should contain a correct designation on packing. Besides, the ready products offered consumers containing such imitations, for example a pizza, should have a corresponding designation in the menu. The government of Germany has already prepared the offer for the European Union, assuming introduction obligatory clear to any consumer a designation for the products including imitations of cheese and a ham.
